Tech-enabled storage company Clutter keeps an online inventory of your stored items and delivers those items to your home when needed. This six-year-old company was founded by Ari Mir and Brian Thomas , and it is in the process of raising around $200M led by SoftBank ; however, the term sheet has not been officially finalized.

FabFitFun , the lifestyle subscription box company, has raised $80M in Series A funding from investors that include Kleiner Perkins , NEA , and Upfront Ventures . FabFitFin was founded in 2010 by Daniel Broukhim , Katie Echevarria Rosen Kitchens , Michael Broukhim , and Sam Teller and had previously raised $3.5M in reported equity funding.

We shined a spotlight on the some of the LA companies that raised the most funding in January - These are the 7 Largest LA Startup Funding Rounds for January 2019

INTELITY , the guest management platform for the hospitality industry, has raised $44M in funding led by LLR Partners . INTELITY was founded in Mark Anderson , Nizar Allibhoy , and Sabir Jaffer in 2014 and has now raised a total of $63M in reported funding.

Italic , the direct-to-consumer platform for leather goods directly sourced from the same factories and manufacturers used by high-end brands, has raised $9.8M in funding according to a recent SEC filing. Italic was founded by Jeremy Cai in March of 2018. The filing indicates that there were twelve participants in the round and that the total offering is for $10.03M. The filing lists Daniel Gulati of Comcast Ventures and Ludwig Ensthaler of Global Founders Capital as Directors.

HitRecord is the online portal enabling artists to collaborate on projects. Founded by Joseph Gordon-Levitt , Jared Geller , and Marke Johnson , HitRecord raised $6.4M in Series A funding. Javelin Venture Partners led the round, other participants in this round include Crosslink Capital , Advancit Capital , Steve Chen (YouTube cofounder), Kevin Lin (Twitter cofounder), and David Rogier (MasterClass cofounder).

Avinew is providing auto insurance for autonomous and semi-autonomous vehicles, and it has raised $5M in Seed Funding led by Crosscut Ventures , along with investors that include American Family Ventures , Draper Frontier , and RPM Ventures . Avinew was founded by Dan Peate and it plans to launch in select U.S. states later this year.
