Slips, a peer-to-peer betting platform that lets users wager against each other on sports and cultural events instead of against a sportsbook, has raised $700K in funding according to a recent SEC filing. The filing indicates that the total offering is for $4M and there were five investors in this close. Founded by Jess Richman and Gurminder Singh in 2019, Slips has now raised a total of $4.2M in reported equity funding.
