Customer intelligence platform DISQO , which was previously known as Active Measure, has raised $13.5M in Series A funding from investors that include Alpha Edison and Bonfire Ventures . DISQO was founded by Armen Adjemian in 2016.

Mars Reel , the sports-focused media platform for high school student-athletes, has raised $4.7M in Series A funding from investors that include Otter Media , Dwayne Wade , LeBron James , Kevin Durant , and Drake . Founded by twin brothers Bradley Deyo and Brandon Deyo in 2010, Mars Reel has now raised a total of $7.5M in funding. The company is an alumn of 500 Startups participating in the Batch 16 from 2016.

Milk and Eggs , the online food market that connects customers to local farmers, has raised $3M in Seed funding. The company was founded by Ash Chan and Kenneth W in 2016.

Sherman Oaks-based SERVIZ, the discovery platform for finding service providers for homes, has been acquired by Seattle-based Porch, another similar platform for finding home professionals.

The smartphone trivia app, Totally Bored , raised $250K in a Seed round led by O.D. Kobo and it was founded by Elad Levy , Eyal Cohen , and Phil Haus .

Transfr , the P2P car sharing platform for travelers at airports, has raised $150K in funding. Transfr was founded by Kody Amburgey and R.J. Napolitano in March.
