$100M
Venice-based Fifth Wall Ventures, the real estate tech-focused venture firm has closed the first tranche of its second fund at $100M. Total target raise for this fund is $400M. Brad Greiwe and Brendan Wallace founded Fifth Wall in 2016 and its debut fund was $212M. The fund's portfolio includes investment in Lime, Opendoor, VTS, Enertiv, Industrious, and Clutter.
Mtech Capital
$75M
Insurtech-focused venture fund Mtech Capital has closed $75M for its first fund with plans to take close an additional $75M within the next 12 months. Founded by Kevin McLoughlin (BOA ML, Citigroup, AIG) and Brian McLoughlin (Upfront Ventures). The initial tranch is anchored by three large insurers with plans to have additional insurance companies join the next close.
