Heal , the Santa Monica-based healthech startup that brings the housecall to your door via the iPhone announced a $5M seed round. Investors in the round included James Lassiter, Stephen Rader, Mike Wortsman, Lionel Richie, Jamie McCout, Paul E. Jacobs, Pritzker Group Venture Capital, March Capital Partners, and Slow Ventures.

Crosscut Ventures has announced its newest fund. The amount raised is $75M and the firm now has $100M under management. The new fund will be used primarily for early stage seed deals and investing in follow on deals of current investments.

Shaving accessory powerhouse, Dollar Shave Club has announced a $75M Series D round. Participating in the round were Technology Crossover Ventures, Dragoneer Investment Group, Forerunner Ventures, TCV Capital, Venrock. The pre money valuation is rumored to be north of $500M.

Givesurance , the donation wallet for charities that has integrated giving through insurance payments has raised a $900K seed round. Givesurance recently completed 500 Startups Batch 10.

FreedomPop , the internet mobile broadband provider, has announced $30M Series B. Participating in the round were Mangrove, DCM, Partech Ventures.

Digitour Media announced the hiring of Linnea Stalberg as Senior Vice President of Marketing.
