What’s the size of the market you are attacking?
What’s the business model?
Multi-year annual software licenses
What kind of traction have you achieved since joining the Accelerator?
Since we are a later stage company, much of our current traction has been from deals launched this summer like those with Live Nation and the Sacramento Kings. We have an awesome case study with the Dodgers parking lot and concessions ahead of a potential larger rollout next season. Most of our “traction” with the accelerator came from strategic planning sessions, VC meetings and business development meetings with folks like Jeanie Buss.
What was the experience like working with the Dodgers organization?
We have had a fantastic experience with the Dodgers organization. Everyone from their Head of IT, Ralph Esquibel to their CFO Tucker Kain have been instrumental in mentorship, guidance, and allowing us to do A-B testing with new POS concepts we have in the works.
What was the experience like working with R|GA?
R/GA has been an immensely helpful partner in developing several re-branding efforts (more on that coming soon!) and helping refine our pitch. They provide access to top-tier creative talent that works with some of the world’s best brands, and we’ve learned a lot through our collaborations.
What was your favorite part about being in LA?
We are all LA Natives so there really wasn’t much of a question of where we would be. Probably our favorite aspect of LA is the great sports and entertainment options here – Dodgers, Lakers, Kings, Hollywood Bowl, the nightlife.
What’s the one thing about your company/progress that you’d like to announce to the world?
That while other cloud based payment systems are great for small businesses, Appetize is the true enterprise mobile payment solution. The analytics, inventory controls, and reporting we give operators – all live – is unmatched in the market.
