Co-CEO Ben Guez sits down with LA TechWatch and tells us the story of Ophis Vape.
Tell us about the product or service.
Ophis vape is a brand of fashion vaporizer and electronic cigarette.
How is it different?
We Created the first one made of leather so we defined it as a fashion accessory more than just a vaporizer.
What market are you attacking and how big is it?
The market is huge, it’s the tobacco and the marijuana market.
What is the business model?
We started by launching a website with a very strong marketing and branding then we developed the wholesale department and we started selling license overseas.
What inspired the business?
We were going out a lot with my partners and saw this ‘’ecig’’ a little bit everywhere but we thought that the design was ugly and that there were a market to take by creating something very stylish and fashion.
What are the milestones that you plan to achieve within six months?

What does being “Made in LA” mean to you and your company?
Everything starts from here, I mean we are lucky to live in LA by giving us the opportunity to reach a lot of influencer and celebrities. Some of very famous artist got our vape and it helped us a lot on social media.
